The Back To Work Edition

Stacy London / The Pause

Ah fall...If you live in a place where the seasons do change, fall really is magical. The trees change into magnificent reds, oranges, yellows. The air gets crisp and cool. We take out our favorite layering pieces and boots. Lots of boots. We stock up on good moisturizers for the cold. We start wearing our darker lip colors. Am I right?

However, the reality is that a lot of us are heading back into the office whether we like it or not. And if you're heading back to the office while experiencing hot flashes and perpetually dry skin? Even worse.

Here at State of Menopause, we care about your state of work and how we can help keep you comfortable during this transition back to the grind.

Introducing our Work Desk Duo: a cooling spray with peppermint and menthol essential oils to keep you feeling cool without being medicinal and our arnica hand and joint cream to keep your hands smooth and your joints from feeling the pain of too many hours at the keyboard.

Keep one set in your bag and definitely one in your office drawer.

We're here to make sure you feel better now.

Stacy's Fall Finds - Your Fashion and Beauty Inspo

Are you having a fashion crisis over what to wear to work (that is not workout gear)? Growing weary of your sweats? Looking for inspiration? These are the fun, the frilly, the fall-friendly finds that caught my eye this season!

The Khaite Blouse: This is the perfect neutral, lightweight blouse for fall. More visual interest than a plain white button down. Works on its own or paired with a blazer.

Fashionkind Fil De Vie Jumpsuit: If a comfier but still chic as all get out jumpsuit exists, you let me know. Wear this with our favorite sneakers or high heels for dinner at a lovely chic bistro. Also read all about Fashionkind's business model: luxury meets social justice. You can even shop by CAUSE.

Another Tomorrow Wide Leg Pant: Invest in basics. If skinny jeans are out, make sure your wide leg trousers go with everything and are flattering. Also, make sure to read about AT's commitment to sustainability.

Kule Alvise Vest: In menopause, you need to layer. You also need chic colorful pieces to brighten up even the sweatiest days. I love this knit vest from Kule. Chic preppy always works.

Bree Nichols Nature Disinherited Signet Ring: I love ALL of Bree's jewelry but I especially love the idea of things that look worn and old. Her jewelry is just like having a modern day heirloom and because she makes brass ands silver and gold, you can choose how much you want to spend.

Narciso Rodriguez for Zara Black Dress: Narciso designing for Zara is a big deal. But his perfect little black dress is an even bigger one. This is perfect from Day to Evening, has some arm coverage, is the perfect length and will never ever go out of style.

Easy Spirit Mariss Sneakers:Literally the lightest, cushiest sneakers I've ever worn. I love wearing sneakers with a suit (very late 90s) and these are perfect but they are also a great exercise shoe. When traveling they do double duty and weigh nothing to pack!

About Face Matte Lipstick in Fireside: The perfect dark red for fall that doesn't MOVE after application. To be honest, I love the entire About Face Beauty line by Halsey. Amazing colors to play with. Go nuts!
